Equations and LaTex

Mathematics, Engineering, and other STEM fields often use LaTex software to create accurate equations for printed and digital documents. Native LaTex is not very accessible.

eCampus Ultra can accept LaTex code for equations and will generate usable MathML for the web page which is accessible. Creating pages (called documents) inside eCampus using LaTex code will generate accessible web pages for students.

While LaTex can generate a PDF, the software cannot create accessible PDF documents (exams, homework, handouts, etc.). To make accessible PDF output in LaTex, you must add an accessible package and complete other functions
